PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of art-hair-like corrosion at the time of using the titled tube under the specific temp. conditions and aeration conditions by regulating the contents of P, O and other impurities of said tube to specific trace ratios. CONSTITUTION:Oxygen-free copper contg. <0.005wt.% P, contg. <=0.04wt.% total ratio of the impurities such as Sn, Zn, Al, Mn including P and furthermore contg. <=10ppm O2 is used as the Cu material for refrigerant piping having excellent conductivity. The copper material as a piping material for a refrigerant by which the generation of peculiar corrosion providing a honeycomb shape is small even under the dew condensation conditions, temp. conditions and aeration conditions characteristics of the piping for a refrigerant and has excellent corrosion resistance can be obtd.
