PURPOSE:To prevent the inclination of a laminated core caused by a plate thickness deflection of the laminated core, by providing required numbers of neighboring caulking holes and caulking projections to laminate the laminating layers rotatingly by a prescribed angle or prescribed interval. CONSTITUTION:At first, a steel strip 3 is fed intermittently in the direction A positioning a pilot hole 4, then a punching is performed for a slot hole 5 and an inner core diameter 6 of the laminated core 2. The caulking hole 7 and the caulking projection 8 are disposed by the prescribed angle theta of the prescribed interval respectively, when the outer diameter 9 of the laminated core 2 is punched, to position the caulking projection 8 to a enable inserting and press fitting the caulking projection 8 into the caulking hole 7. The die of the press die is rotated by the prescribed angle theta or the prescribed interval to laminate and to fix the laminated core 2, to constitute an iron core 1 of a rotating machine. Therefore, the inclination of the iron core 1 caused by the plate thickness deflection is prevented and the iron core 1 of the rotating machine excellent in the laminating accuracy is obtained.
