PURPOSE:To discriminate a metal oxide with a superconductivity efficiently depending on a difference of a moving locus when a space having a magnetic field is moved, by cooling bulk material of metal containing the metal oxide with a superconductivity below a superconductivity transition temperature thereof. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of a metal oxide with a superconductivity and oxide with none held below a superconductivity transition temperature housed in a hopper 1 is blown off almost horizontally from a nozzle 3 with the driving of a bulk material feeder 2. A magnetic field is applied with a magnet 5 on a path 4 of the mixture. When the mixture passes through the magnetic field, the metal oxide with a superconductivity receives a force so as to be separated from the magnet by an anti-magnetic field attributed to superconductivity of the metal oxide while the oxide with no conductivity moves on a normal dropping locus, not receiving such a force.
