发明名称 MONITORING METHOD FOR FLANGED ROLLER BEARING OPERATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent damage to a flanged roller bearing by monitoring the signal from a non-contact displacement gauge which measures the distance from the end face of a roller to a sensor and taking the countermeasure of preventing an accident if the self-turning axis of the roller inclines at an angle more than the allowable degree from the normal attitude of the roller. CONSTITUTION:A holder 15 firmly held between both the end face of an external ring 11 at the opposed side of the external flange part 12 thereof and the end face of an external ring retainer 10 keeps both the sensor 17 of a non- contact displacement gauge 16 and a trigger signal generator 18. Based on the trigger signal alpha sent from the trigger signal generator 18 to a micro-computer 22, the sensor 17 measures the distance from the end face of the roller 8 to the sensor 17 and sends the signal beta according to the measured distance to the micro-computer via a non-contact displacement gauge 16 and an A/D converter 21. If the self-turning axis of the roller 8 is determined to incline at an angle more than the specified angle, the appropriate countermeasure to prevent a danger of an accident will be taken.
