PURPOSE:To optionally decentralize the functions and loads by securing such a mechanism where a process manager allocates properly the processes to one of those process frame groups which are controlled by the process manager itself in accordance with the request given from a master manager. CONSTITUTION:The network processing elements NPE containing at least two channel processors which control the communication channels originally are connected in a ring form via plural channel processors. Then the desired ones of those NPE are defined as the process managers SM1-SMn for control of a fixed number of process frame groups PF1-PFk that belong to the managers SM1-SMn. While another NPE is defined as a master manager MM which controls those managers SM1-SMn. Thus the processes are properly allocated to the desired ones of those groups PF1-PFk controlled by the managers SM themselves by a request given from the MM. |
