PURPOSE:To obtain an infection preventive against virus diseases occurring in shaving and hair dressing, being brought into contact with tools and hands in shaving and hair dressing, comprising a specific quaternary nitrogen atom.- containing surface active agent. CONSTITUTION:A preventive against virus infection for shaving and hair dressing, comprising a specific quaternary nitrogen atom.-containing surface active agent (especially preferably mono-high alkyl quaternary ammonium salt or di-higher alkyl quaternary ammonium salt) show by the formula (R1 is 10-22C alkyl-containing organic group; R2 is alkyl, aralkyl, acylaminoalkyl or acyloxyalkyl; R3 and R4 are 1-4C alkyl or 7-14C aralkyl; X is anionic pair ion). The agent shows drastically reducing effects on change of infection with virus diseases having high variability such as AIDS virus.
