PURPOSE:To cool a stator armature coil, by fitting one end of a heat pipe directly to or close to a stator armature core or to a stator armature coil respectively, and the other end of the heat pipe to the coolant circulating route of a cylinder block of an engine. CONSTITUTION:The coolant filled up to a coolant circulating route of an engine linked with a radiator and a cylinder block 24 circulates between the radiator and the cylinder block 24 and communicates a coolant passage 32 on field iron core side through an inflow port 31 from the outgoing passage of the coolant circulating route 25 of engine and returns to the incoming passage of a coolant circulating route 25 of engine. In the communicating process of this coolant, the heat generating from a field coil 9 is absorbed to the coolant through a stator field core 22. At the same time, the heat of the stator field core 22 is transmitted and to a coolant passage 34 to be discharged on field iron core side with a heat pipe 33. On the other hand, the heat generating from a stator armature coil 11 is transmitted to a heat pipe 29 through a stator armature core 23 and absorbed to the coolant of the coolant circulating route 25.
