PURPOSE:To facilitate a highly accurate positioning action and a stable floating action with a head slider support device by using a triangular flat part extended from an elastic spring part and an approximately triangular rigid member including a projection and a thin plate flat part to form a rigid beam part and connecting the flat part to the rigid member. CONSTITUTION:A rigid member 30 having an approximately equal form to a triangular flat part 3 and consisting of a projection 31 and a thin plate flat part 32 is connected to a triangular flat part 3. A connecting means used for said connection includes a contact part 33, for example, and set on the projection 31 performing a rigid role. Then a space is provided above the part 32 so that a rigid member having the small fluid force is obtained without increasing the weight so much. That is, a head slider support device is obtained with the rigidity of its rigid beam part is equivalent to a conventional one together with the extreme reduction of the fluid force.
