PURPOSE:To confirm without fail a faulted terminal in a center by individually closing a gate switch in respective terminals in the center when a trouble is generated in a terminal and a rise signal is transmitted continually from the terminal to the center. CONSTITUTION:A gate switch GS in respective terminals 10 in a television joint-listening system is opened at ordinary times and in the condition. a desired terminal is called from a center. Between the called terminal and the center, a data-transmission is executed, when a trouble is generated in one of the terminals and a rise signal is transmitted continually from the terminal to the center, the gate switch GS in the respective terminals in the center is individually closed and the terminal when the rise signal is stopped is discriminated to be an abnormal terminal.
