PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of an encode circuit and a decode circuit, by setting the output of the pre-encode circuit of a parallel comparison type A/D converter directly as the input of the word line of a memory part. CONSTITUTION:The outputs 14a-14d of the pre-encode circuit of the parallel comparison type A/D converter are set directly as the inputs of the word line of a memory, and the address of the memory part 10 is designated by the outputs 14a-14d of the pre-encode circuit of the A/D converter and a memory output part 11. In such a way, it is possible to make the encode circuit and the decode circuit unnecessary, and to realize a high level of integration and high speed.
