PURPOSE:To provide the title coating compsn. which gives a coating film excellent in radiation rate, heat (impact) resistance and adhesion with a glass or ceramics substrate, by dissolving or dispersing a particular resin, an infrared radiating substance and a glass frit in an org. solvent. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt., in terms of the amt. of nonvolatile content, mixture (A) of 100pts.wt. at least one member (a) selected from a polyborosiloxane resin, a polycarbosilane resin, a polysilastyrene resin, a polytitanocarbosilane resin and a polysilazane resin and optionally 5-500pts.wt. silicone resin (b), 10-300pts.wt. infrared radiating substance (B) (e.g., ZrO2) such as a metal oxide and ceramic powder, 30-300pts.wt. glass frit (C), and optionally a pigment (D) are dissolved or dispersed in an org. solvent (e.g., N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone).
