摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the flow velocity at the center part of combustion air discharged into a vaporization cylinder and also reduce pressure loss caused by the whole combustion air by installing a ring-shaped groove at the peripheral part of a passage for the combustion air, which is located near the tip part of an ejecting pipe for liquid fuel. CONSTITUTION:At the peripheral part of a passage 4 for combustion air, which is located near a tip part 3b with the ejecting port 3a of an ejecting pipe 3, a ring-shaped groove 7 is formed. The size and depth of the groove 7 depend on the size of the passage 4 and the capacity of an air blasting fan, etc. The role and function of the groove 7 is to generate the vortexes V of air streams at the part of the groove 7. The resistance of the peripheral part of the passage 4 is increased by the vortexes V and the air streams have a tendency of contraction flow to the center side of the passage 4. Since the vortexes do not form the absolute walls (resistance) to the air flowing through the passage 4, the air with slow velocity flows properly into a vaporization cylinder 1 from the peripheral part of the passage 4 as well. As a result, the mean flow velocity of the whole combustion air flowing into the cylinder 1 is slower than that in the case of installing an orifice plate. That is, the pressure loss of the air is reduced.
