HEAT-RESISTANT RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-resistant resin composition having excellent wear resistance, heat-resistant softening characteristic, flexibility, electrical properties and adhesiveness without damaging characteristic heat resistance of resin, by blending a solution of borosiloxane resin with a proper amount of bismaleimide. CONSTITUTION:The aimed heat-resistant resin composition consisting of (A) 100pts.wt. borosiloxane resin such as borosiloxane resin obtained by subjecting a polyfunctional silane compound and boric acid to polycondensation in a solvent or in the absence of a solvent and (B) >=5pts.wt. one or more of bismaleimides shown by the formula (Y is H or methyl; L is cyclohexylene or phenylene) and prepared by dissolving the component A in a solvent (e.g. phenol or N- methyl-2-pyrrolidone) to give a resin solution and adding the component B to the resin solution or adding the component B to a reaction solution in synthesis of the component A.
