PURPOSE:To attempt enhancement of appearance and fatigue resistance by providing the surface of a cover main body with a thermally sprayed metal layer in a roughened surface via a base coat layer wherein said thermally sprayed metal layer is partially ground so as to be glossy and providing thereby the surface of the thermally sprayed metal layer with a transparent top coat. CONSTITUTION:A cover main body 1 is monolithically made of synthetic resin including a plurality of radially extending projected stripes 5 and a plurality of recesses 6 formed among each of the projected stripes 5. In the cross-sectional structure of this cover main body 1, the roughened surface of the cover main body 1 is provided with a thermally sprayed metal layer 12 which is composed of low fusion point metals such as aluminum and the like sprayed through a base coat layer 11 consisting of two fluid type paint and the like of an urethane family. And the part of the surface of the thermally sprayed metal layer 12, for example, the surface of the upper surface of each projected stripe 5 is ground for forming a glossy surface 13. And the surface of the thermally sprayed metal layer 12 including the glossy surface 13 is provided with a transparent top coat layer 14 consisting of two fluid type clear paint and the like of the urethane family. |
