PURPOSE:To reduce the number of program sequences and shorten an idle time needed for tool exchange by providing a plurality of independent drive sources for a tool box and combining a conventional program instruction code with a specific instruction code. CONSTITUTION:A specific instruction code is added in combination with a standard code, thereby enabling two types of operation concurrently. As a result, only A to M number of sequences is required and four sequences can be omitted. Furthermore, in sequences E, I and M, machining and approaching processes take place concurrently. Also, machining and retreating processes concurrently take place in sequences D, H and L. Consequently, an idle time required for tool exchange can be shortened and productivity can be improved.
