PURPOSE:To prevent the cutoff of a brake fluid flow passage because or bubbles by providing a connecting passage for connecting the valve chamber on a master cylinder side to a cylinder chamber and cutting off the connecting passage when a brake fluid pressure becomes above a defined value. CONSTITUTION:When a brake oil is fed from a master cylinder to wheel cylinders, the brake oil is fed into each cylinder chamber 17 via connecting passages 33, 40, 20, etc., increasing the pressure in the chamber to compress the bubbles in the brake oil. And, the piston 36 of a bypass valve 34 is depressed by the brake oil pressure and a valve body 38 is lowered to cut off the passages 33, 40. However, a piston 3 is not moved upward even when the pressure in a valve chamber 1 is increased since bubbles in the cylinder chamber 17 are compressed by the fed oil pressure. Accordingly, the supply of brake oil into a wheel cylinder is not hindered by the movement of a valve body 52.
