PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition improved in releasability without decreasing the mechanical strengths and forming gases during injection molding, etc., by mixing a polyarylene sulfide resin with a specified fatty acid ester and an inorganic filler at a specified ratio. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyarylene sulfide resin (A) (e.g., polyphenylene sulfide resin) is mixed with 0.01-5pts.wt. fatty acid ester (B) of formula I (wherein at least one of X<1>-X<4> is a group of formula II, and the rest are each -H, -OH, alkyl or aryl, and R is a 2-30C alkyl or alkenyl) and 0-400pts.wt. inorganic filler (C) (e.g., glass fiber or silica) to obtain the purpose polyarylene sulfide resin composition. Examples of components B as releasability-improving agents include pentaerythritol tristearate and pentaerythritol tetraoleate.
