MULTILAYER COIL AND ITS WINDING METHOD

A conductor has opposite end portions forming a number of successive radially stratified helical windings terminating in an outermost winding having one end portion extending outwardly. The windings have opposed end faces. A spiral winding extends from an innermost helical winding and is arranged against one of the end faces in successive radially stratified loops so as to terminate in an outermost loop radially coinciding with the outermost winding with the other of the end portions extending outwardly. The outermost winding and the outmost loop defines an outer peripheral wall of the coil.
