PURPOSE:To improve reliability and control stability, by controlling such that a reactor and a capacitor form a parallel resonant circuit during an interval when alternating voltage produced from an inverter is zero. CONSTITUTION:An inverter I is formed into a bridge from semi-conductor switches, i.e. transistor switches Tr1-Tr4 and diodes D1-D4 and ON/OFF controlled to produce A.C. voltage which is applied through a reactor L1 onto a load R. A control circuit D therefor comprises a referential pulse generator 1, delay circuits 2 and FF3-4, and produces trigger signals S1-S4. A series joint between the reactor L1 and a capacitor C and a DC power source E are connected through a reactor L2 and diodes D5-D6. Consequently, stable voltage can be applied onto a load even if the voltage of the DC power source fluctuates considerably.
