PURPOSE:To easily use by a user by separately displaying blocks in which received documents are overlapped. CONSTITUTION:Received document information stored in an auxiliary storing part 10 is read to refer to page information and a position and a size are registered in a controlling storing part 12. Then, the area already registered in the controlling storing part 12 is compared with the area of a currently processed block and when the block are not overlapped, text/image information is developed in a first face buffer in a picture storing part 13 and when they are overlapped, it is developed to a second face buffer. When the development of all the blocks is completed, the information in the first face buffer in the picture storing part 13 is reduced to 1/4 by using a DMA controller 4, transferred to a part corresponding to a left half in a displaying storing part 3 and displayed on a display part 1. Similarly, the contents of the second face buffer are displayed on the right half of the display part 1.
