PURPOSE:To improve the stability and the frequency efficiency by controlling 1st and 2nd transmitter-receivers as well as the 1st and 2nd memories in accordance with the output of a synchronism detector and the transmission/reception state of a master radio station. CONSTITUTION:A synchronism detector 11 receives the signal from a master radio station and detects the transmission timing of the master radio station. Then the detector 11 connects the switches 3 and 4 to terminals 31 and 42 when the master radio station is set under a transmission state and at the same time controls the 1st and 2nd receivers under the reception states, 1st and 2nd memories 6 and 9 under the write states, and the 1st and 2nd transmitters under the pause states respectively. While the switches 3 and 4 are connected to terminals 32 and 41 when the master radio station is set under a reception state. At the same time, the memories 6 and 9 are controlled under the read states together with the transmitters 7 and 8 under the transmission states, and the receivers 5 and 10 under the pause states respectively. Thus it is possible to avoid the simultaneous operations of both the transmitter and the receiver of a repeater. As a result, the unstable oscillations, etc., are never produced despite the same transmission and reception frequencies.
