PURPOSE:To easily obtain a hard-to-work metal raw material having the optimum shape by making small drips of molten metal and depositing the obtd. metal particles under condition of semi-melting or semi-flowing. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal is supplied into a tundish 3 from a ladle 1. The tundish 3 is set on a tundish frame 6 through packing 5 to be cut off from the air. The molten metal flowing out from a bottom nozzle 4 in the tundish 3 is made to atomization and the small drips 7, which are set as surrounding outlet of the nozzle 4. The metal particles, which are made to the small drips are deposited on an ingot formed by already depositing at lower part. By this method, mass production of the hard-to-work metal having good ductility can be executed.
