PURPOSE:To correctly detect the transfer position of a card with non-contact by reading the position for the movement in one direction of a rotary part in the case of reciprocating a card in the linear direction by moving a card holding part by converting the rotary movement of the rotary part rotated in one direction into a linear movement. CONSTITUTION:A fly wheel 11 is set to be turned once by one turning of a motor 14 and a card holding part 20 is set as well so as to reciprocate once on a guide 18 by one turning of this fly wheel 11. Since the card holding part is moved back and forth by interlocking with the revolution of the motor 14, the position of a card P in the initial position and the number of revolutions of the motor 14 can be detected by optically reading the one turning of the fly wheel 11. The position of the card at optional time can correctly be detected with non-contact.
