PURPOSE:To omit a connection terminal exposed to the surface of a card and to prevent a terminal from being mixed with external noise or static electricity by using ultrasonic waves to input/output data to/from a semiconductor element in the data card. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is provided with the data card 1 on which the semiconductor element and card side ultrasonic data receiving and originating parts 5, 6 connected to the element are embedded and a body part 2 including in the inserted data card 1 and having body side ultrasonic data receiving and originating parts 16, 17 for receiving/originating ultrasonic data from/to the parts 5, 6. Data are inputted/outputted to/from the semiconductor element in the data card 1 by using ultrasonic waves. Consequently, a connection terminal exposed to the surface of the card 1 which may be rusted and mixed with external noise or static electricity can be omitted.
