PURPOSE:To increase the conveying speed of an aligning and conveying device adapted to be used in a fruit sorter or the like, by conveying fruits in a vibration type trough conveyer having fur-like projections in an inverted V-like shape, and by controlling the float-up of fruits with the use of a pressing member. CONSTITUTION:Fruits 1 fed through a roller conveyer 7, a chute 8 and a chute section 9, are received by fur-like projections 4 on an inclined surface 10, softly, rolling and being guided through an inverted V-like groove between receiving surfaces 2, 3. The fruits are conveyed through a vibration type trough conveyer 5 due to vibration by a vibrating motor 16 and the action of the fur-like projections 4 and the rotation of a brush roll 21. Further, vibration and the action of the fur-like projections 4 allow the fruits to be conveyed in a flat surface brush section 24. Further, due to the bending rigidity of bristles 23, the fruits are pressed downward so as to restrain them from floating up, and accordingly, they are conveyed in an aligned condition. With this arrangement, it is possible to restrain the float-up of fruits.
