PURPOSE:To reduce the number of welding spots by providing an electrode component with a tongue-like portion extending from the component over the rest of electrode components and welding and fixing the tongue-like portion to the rest of the electrode components. CONSTITUTION:Providing a bottom 1 with a number of tongue-like portions 1b extending over a spacer 2 and a cup 3 and installing the bottom 1, the spacer 2 and the cup 3 in an assembly jig, they are held in a condition of outside surface 1a, 3a being pressed against reference surfaces having respectively good parallel accuracy. As a result, there is a gathering point 5 where the side surface of the tongue-like portion 1b, and the end surface of the spacer 2 and the cup 3. Irradiating a laser beam 6 on the gathering point 5, the tongue- like portion 1b, the spacer 2 and the cup 3 are simultaneously fixed by welding 4. This reduces the number of the welding spots.
