PURPOSE:To obtain the titled preventing agent, consisting essentially of a water- soluble copolymer, capable of preventing jumping up of sewage, especially preventing water splash in foreign style toilet stools by spraying on sewage surface. CONSTITUTION:The aimed preventing agent consisting of a water-soluble poly mer [preferably polyacrylic acid (salt), PVA, polyacrylamide, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyethylene oxide, amylose, methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellu lose, hydroxypropyl cellulose or alginic acid (salt)] in the form of preferably powder, solution or dispersion.
