PURPOSE:To obtain the titled coating of excellent persistence in the effective ness, for use in protecting houses, utility poles, etc. from damages by terminate, by incorporating a tar-contg. coating with specific organophosphorus compound(s). CONSTITUTION:The objective termite control coating can be obtained by incorpo rating (A) a tar-contg. coating (e.g., a mixture of tar and vinyl resin varnish) with (B) as the termite control component, at least one kind of organophosphorus compound selected from pyridafenthion, phoxim, tetrachlorbinfos and chlorpyrifos. The amount of the component B to be incorpo rated is such as the be pref. 0.5-1.0wt.% in the final coating.
