PURPOSE:To facilitate cleaning an apparatus while rotating a rotor by jetting compressed air to a rotor end face through a suction hole formed in a bearing box. CONSTITUTION:At the time of cleaning the inside of a motor, the blank cap 21 of in end connection 20 is drawn out, a hose 22 from a compressed air supplier such as compresser is connected with the end connection 20, and compressed air is fed into a blowing hole 15 via a communicating hole 19. Then, said compressed air flows from a blowing hole 15 into a flow dividing chamber 17, and further blows out from the flow dividing chamber 17 through each blowout hole 18 and jet hole 18a toward the end face and louver 2a of a rotor 2. Then, said rotor 2 having only the rolling resistance of a bearing 13 is simply rotated by compressed air coming out from a jet hole 18a inclined in a certain direction relative to the end face of said rotor 2. Therefore, compressed air blows out uniformly and circumferentially through said blowout hole 18 and jet hole 18a so that dust and the like having adhered to and accumulated on core pressers 10, 11 and a short-circuit ring 12 are caused to come off. In addition, dust accumulated on the inner peripheral face of the louver 2a is also separated and removed.
