PURPOSE:To promote the reduction of size in the lateral direction of a transfer so as to facilitate its assembly by arranging a center differential gear in a transmission axle case and assembling a front or rear differential gear in the inside of this center differential gear. CONSTITUTION:This driving gear 10 for a four-wheel-drive vehicle, applied to a horizontal engine 31, is constituted of a center differential gear 1 arranged in a transmission axle case and a front differential gear 2 arranged in this differential gear 1. The center differential gear 1 is constituted mounting a pair of pinion shafts 9 in a casing 4, providing pinions 3 in the pinion shafts 9, meshing right and left side gears 11, 12 with the pinions 3, fixing a casing 8 to the side gear 12 and a rear wheel driving side gear shaft 19 to the side gear 11. While the front differential gear 2 is constituted fixing a pair of pinion shafts 13 to the casing 8, providing pinions 14 in the pinion shafts 13, meshing right and left side gears 15, 16 with the pinions 14 and fixing right and left front wheel driving shafts 17, 18 to the side gears 15, 16.
