PURPOSE:To obtain a favorable transfer nip and to prevent the omission of transfer, etc., by providing a transfer point in the range of bottom half on the periphery of a photosensitive drum and arranging a carrier roller member and a fixing member lower than the direction of a tangent line on the transfer point in the direction of gravitation. CONSTITUTION:When an intersecting point of a line connecting between the wire of a transfer charger 5 and the photosensitive drum 2 on the periphery of the photosensitive drum is set as the transfer point, the transfer point is provided in the range of the bottom half of the periphery of the photosensitive drum. And the transfer sheet carrier roller member and the fixing member 3 are arranged lower than the direction of the tangent line X2-X2 on the transfer point in the direction of gravitation. A transfer sheet 8 is always fed lower than the direction of the tangent line X2-X2 on the transfer point in the direction of gravitation. Furthermore, a transfer sheet guiding means 7 is folded in a direction bending against the photosensitive drum 2. Thus, the stable transfer nip can be obtained and also the favorable transferred image can be obtained.
