A crusher conveyor having pre-separation of fines comprises two chain scraper conveyors situated essentially one above the other and having the same conveying direction and has a crushing device which is usually constructed as a continuous-flow crusher. Such a crusher conveyor is used above all in the face/roadway transition region in underground mining in order to transfer the coarse and fine conveyed material taken over from the face conveyor onto the downstream belt conveyor with a suitable grain size. A high throughput capacity, a low dust production and also as small a proportion as possible of fine material are achieved in that the upper strands of the two conveyors are preferably congruent, the lower strand of the upper conveyor, on the other hand, is arranged such that it is displaced out of the region of the upper strand. The bottom plate is omitted in the upper strand of the upper conveyor, so that the chain and the carriers determine the near-mesh grain and at the same time serve as a crushing grid in that the crushing device, that is to say above all the continuous-flow crusher, is arranged in the region of the displaced strands of the upper conveyor. <IMAGE>
