<p>The container for liquids or spreadable materials has upstanding walls, a base and a lid. The lid can hinge and is provided over a part of its perimeter with a hinging connection to wall. Over another part of its perimeter the bendable yet stiff connector elements connecting the lid to the walls. Between these connector elements, is a pouring opening which extends in the direction of a first diagonal. Along the diagonal, the lid has a hinge. The measurements of the connector elements and the lid are such that the lid closes when the holder near the lid is pushed together in the direction of the first diagonal. The lid opens when it is pushed together in the direction of a second diagonal which is perpendicular to the first diagonal.</p> |
