PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input operation detection device that can improve detection accuracy of input operations.SOLUTION: An input operation detection device is the input operation detection device that detects input operations by instruction means with respect to projection images projected to the projection surface, and the input operation detection device comprises: a light projection unit that projects the projection image with pattern light; an imaging unit in which the projection image falls within an imaging range; and a processing unit 15 that detects an input operation on the basis of an irradiation image 1 serving as an imaging result in the imaging unit of reflection light of the pattern light with which the projection face is irradiated and an irradiation image 2 serving as an imaging result in the imaging unit of the reflection light of the pattern light with which the instruction means on the projection surface and a part not overlapping on the instruction means on the projection surface are irradiated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
