PURPOSE:To easily and accurately attain minute adjustment by splitting a tip of a parallel stub into plural segments narrow than the line width of the stub and cutting off the tip of the segments. CONSTITUTION:The impedance adjustment structure consists of the parallel stub 2 connected to a series transmission line 1 comprising a microstrip line at a point A with a line width W0 and adjusting segments 4, 5 split into two at the tip. Then the adjusting segment 5 with a narrow width as dotted lines 6 is cut off and eliminated by a length (l), since the change in the admittance is small, the input admittance viewed from a point A is adjusted minutely. Since the narrow part is cut off, the cut-off is easily and accurately attained even in the microstrip line on the dielectric base with a hard material and minute adjustment is facilitated. |
