PURPOSE:To do without providing an external section with extended ports and the like, by connecting a plurality of output ports to a common input port via a dip switch. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is made, then by a CPU 1, output ports 1a-1d are set to be of levels H. In this state, a transistor 4 is non-conductive, and so current does not flow to a stepping rotor. After that, the only output port 1a is set at a level L, and the state of an input port 1f is read, and the state of a dip switch 2a is detected. After the reading is completed, the output port 1a is set at the level 8. In the same manner, the output ports 1b-1d are set to be of the levels L in order, and the state of dip switches 2a-2d is read. After this, after the output ports 1a-1d are set in a state corresponding with the initial state of the stepping motor 3, an output port 1e is set at the level L. |
