PURPOSE:To decrease the uptake of cumiroxi-radical due to a resolution of dicumylperoxide(DCP) so as to obtain a sufficient degree of cross linking by adding an amine antioxidant together with a phenol antioxidant used as an insulator of electric wire/cable to polyethylene. CONSTITUTION:A composition of insulator of electric wire/cable is composed of 100weight part of polyethylene, 1.0-3.0weight part of dicumylperoxide, and 0.1-0.4weight part of mixture of a phenol antioxidant and an amine antioxidant. The polyethylene is a low molarity polyethylene, and the terminal carbon-carbon double bond of polyethylene is 0.7-1.5 per an 1000 carbons. Further, a melt flow ratio (MFR) is 0.5-4.0. Thereby, the uptake of cumyloxi-radical is decreased and a sufficient degree of cross linking (more thin 80%) can be obtained. |
