Connected to the footplate of the equipment is a four-sided casing (4) which is open at least at its upper end, and receives the foot end (2) of a replaceable road marker (1), which is inserted with the foot end in the upper open end of the casing. The casing (4) has a first horizontal pivot joint (5) in its central part. The foot plate has a pair of bearing units (8) for a shaft pin (9) belonging to the pivot joint (5). A first lock (15) normally maintains the casing and the road marker raised in the vertical position, and is located in the lower end of the casing. A second lock unit (28), working in conjunction with the first, is fitted on or in the foot plate on opposite sides of the first lock. Springs activate either of the two locks. |
