PURPOSE:To make it possible to input a very large rotating torque to an antivibration device through which torque is transmitted, by fitting rubber members closely in rubber member storage spaces formed between an inner member and an outer member. CONSTITUTION:Rubber members 7 are closely fitted respectively in a plurality of rubber member storage spaces 6 formed between inner and outer members 1, 2 so that a rotational torque acts as compression force to the rubber members 7. The outer surface of the inner member 1 and the inner surface of the outer surface 2 are formed each in an involute curve shape or a shape approximate to the latter so that the compressive distortion rate in cross-section of each rubber 7 is substantially uniform. Thus it is possible to input a very large rotational torque so as to ensure high durability. |
