PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition, containing a chlorinated substance prepared by chlorinating a terpolymer consisting of an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, unsaturated vinyl ester monomer and ethylene and having excellent cold drying and heat sealing adhesive properties to metal, etc. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition, obtained by containing a chlorinated terpolymer (preferably with 5-50wt.% chlorine content) prepared by chlorinating a terpolymer [preferably containing 0.1-10wt.% component (A) and 3-35wt.% component (B)] consisting of (A) an carboxyl group-containing unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer (e.g., acrylic acid) consisting of one or more carboxylic acids (anhydrides), (B) an unsaturated vinyl ester monomer (e.g., ethyl acrylate) and (C) ethylene and soluble in organic solvents at ambient temperature. |
