NONORGANICE FIBER WEAVING AND ITS METHOD

Woven material has the exposed surfaces of warps and wefts opened. The warps and wefts are pref. raised to provide a thick layer of uniform microfine feathers. The woven material is pref. exposed to jets of pressurised water from multiple nozzles and ejected under controllable pressure. The fibres are e.g. of glass, carbon or alumina and the material is made of yarn consisting of several hundred monofilaments each 5-9 μm in diameter. The material is pref. exposed to jets of water from multiple rotary nozzles about 0.1-0.2mm in diameter which are rotated at 2000-3000 rev/min and are reciprocated at 100-300 times/min to cover 10-20mm transversely of the web.
