The invention relates to disaccharide derivatives with formula I <IMAGE> in which R is a phosphono group, ZR6 or <IMAGE> in which Z, Z1 and Z2 are each an alkylene group and R6 is a carboxyl group or a phosphonoxy group; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are each -COR7, -COZ3R8, <IMAGE>, in which R7 is a possibly substituted alkyl group, Z3 is an alkylene group, R8 is a possibly substituted cycloalkyl group, Q is a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, -CONH2, -COOH or -CH2OH, Q1 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, n1 is 0 or a whole number 1-20 and n2 and n3 are each whole numbers 1-20; and R5 is a hydrogen atom, a phosphono group or -CO(CH2)mCOOH, in which m is 0 or a whole number 1-6; and salts thereof and production thereof. The compounds with formula I have excellent anti- tumour activity and low toxicity.
