PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition containing eglinazine-ethyl and bendazone in specified proportions, having herbicidal effect on weeds hard to be controlled by analogous compositions, long in active period, and capable of reducing the respective amounts of the ingredients to be used. CONSTITUTION: This herbicidal composition contains pref. 0.1-95wt.% of active ingredients, i.e., eglinazine-ethyl, namely, N-(4-chloro-6-ethylamino-1,3,5-triazin-2- yl)-glycine ethyl ester, and bendazone, namely, 3-isopropyl-(1H)-benzo-2,1,3- thiadiazin-4-one-2,2-dioxide in the weight ratio of (1:10) to (10:1). The activity of this composition after germination is such that, because of the presence of the active ingredients even in the soil after application of this composition, this composition also works against the roots of the weeds germinated thereafter, thus controlling them. |
