A remote control method and apparatus, which fall within the technical field of device control. The method comprises: a user terminal acquiring action data generated by a wearable device according to a user action; the user terminal generating a remote control signal for controlling a household appliance according to the action data; and the user terminal sending the remote control signal to the household appliance, the remote control signal being used for controlling the operating state of the household appliance. The problem in the related art of cumbersome operating steps in a remote control method is solved, and the effect that a household appliance can be remotely controlled by a user action only through a wearable device without a button needing to be pressed is achieved. |
