The reel includes a bailed rotor rotatably borne in a reel body. A spool is borne rotatably and axially reciprocally on the reel body through a spool pin. A fishing line is wound on the reel body in accordance with the revolutions of the rotor. A dragging mechanism is mounted on the reel body and joined to the spool pin. A dragging force measuring device includes a measuring operation member (20) for revolving the spool in a direction to let off the fishing line. A measuring spring member connects the operation member and the spool to establish a drevolving torque according to a dragging force set by the dragging mechanism as the operation member revolves.
