PURPOSE:To greatly enhance the efficiency of an automatic assembly, by providing such an arrangement that a torsion coil spring as well as parts which are adapted to be acted upon by the spring are set in combination and are incorporated in a main body. CONSTITUTION:A device 12 for automatically incorporating a torsion spring into a main body to be assembled with various parts, moves to a spring feed station, and projects the bearing section 6 of a component part 5 into the coil section 2 of the spring. When a rotary actuator 35 is energized to turn the jaw 26 thereof, the hook section 3 thereof is received by the hook receiving section of the part 5, and therefore, the hook section 4 is pushed by the jaw 29 so that the space between hook sections 3, 4 is made narrow. The device 12 moves on the main body, holding the part 5 and the spring 1 as such, and therefore, the center of a center pin 24 is aligned with the center of an attaching shaft 9. Thus, the efficiency of automatical assembly may be enhanced, greatly. |
