Massage device with a low-frequency tension pulse generator (IG) which feeds an electromagnetic field coil (MZ), in which the person or animal to be treated (P) can be placed. Said device has on its surface a magnetic cover or magnetic apron (MS) situated in the field coil (MZ) and comprised of small solid permanent-magnet plates (PM), which are flexibly linked with each other so as to exert a massaging action on the surface of the body, the low-frequency electromagnetic field causing them to move in relaxation oscillations. Said massaging action stimulates blood circulation and lymph circulation and enhances the effect of the electromagnetic low-frequency treatment.
