Thread-delivery device for crimped or other fancy yarns

A thread-delivery device, especially for knitting machines, contains a housing and a thread wheel which conveys the thread essentially without slip and is mounted rotatably on the housing and the thread-supporting surface of which carries the thread. A drive device is provided for driving the thread wheel. Thread-guide elements serve for controlling the thread run during the run onto the supporting surface and during the run off from the thread-supporting surface. In order largely to prevent adjacent turns from sticking together on the thread wheel also in the case of fancy yarns and/or make it possible to generate higher thread tensions, there is provided a further thread wheel, on the thread-supporting surface of which the thread likewise rests and around which the thread likewise runs at least partially.
