PURPOSE:To easily check a loaded firmware by a comparatively simple constitution by displaying the contents of a check sum counter which are changed in accordance with the kind of the firmware. CONSTITUTION:At the time of loading the firmware from a host control part 7, the contents are stored in a memory 5 through an interface circuit 6. The check sum counter 2 adds the firmware to be stored in the memory 5 in each word and a display part 3 displays the contents of the lower several bits or the whole bits of the counter 2. Said operation is repeated, and at the time of ending the loading of the firmware, the check sum of the loaded firmware is displayed on the display part 3. Even when a patch is inputted by the change of a specification, the check sum is changed, so that the existence of the path can also be checked.
