PURPOSE:To change the characteristic in a plurality of directions in stepless form by allowing a plurality of partitioning chambers arranged inside an elastic body to communicate each other through a circulation passage and installing a flow control means at a part positioned between the partitioning chambers among the conduits. CONSTITUTION:An elastic body 3 is press-fitted between the inner peripheral surface of an outer cylinder 1 and the outer peripheral surface of an inner cylinder 2. Four partitioning chambers S1-S4 are formed inside the elastic body 3. Each partitioning chamber S1-S4 is allowed to communicate each other through an annular conduit formed by the rigid pipes P1-P4 having three-way unions U1-U4 and orifices O1-O4. The fluid resistance of the magnetic fluid which flows in and out from each partitioning chamber S1-S4 is varied by the intensity of the magnetic field in each orifice O1-O4. |
